Shelter Associate - Part Time
The Shelter Associate position is a part time position, up to 22 hours every other weekend. The shift is every other weekend, 8am-7pm.
The Shelter Associate provides confidential, safety, and supervision services to shelter guests. Â
The Shelter Associate position requires a minimum of an associate degree in a human services field; effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, crisis management/intervention skills; knowledge of domestic violence preferred; familiarity and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Center for Family Violence Prevention Child Counselor/ Parenting Class Facilitator
This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.
This position requires the employee to provide children’s counseling and facilitate parenting classes.
As a children’s counselor the employee will be responsible for conducting children’s counseling sessions in an outpatient setting. The children’s counselor will be working with children who have been impacted by domestic violence.
The children’s counselor will start with a case load of 10-12 clients. This position requires late afternoon and evening hours.
This position also provides services to clients by facilitating weekly parenting education classes. The employee will conduct parenting class intakes and assess each parent needs and link him/her to services in the community, if needed.
Salary: $41,500-$45,000 per year
Center for Family Violence Prevention Direct Service Advocate
This is a full-time (40 hours a week) position responsible for providing direct services to victims of domestic and intimate partner violence including court advocacy, domestic violence protective order assistance, Victim Compensation services, core services and outreach.
Salary Range: $35,900-$38,900
