an emergency shelter for abused women and their children, providing individual case management, counseling, support groups, food, clothing, advocacy, and referrals to other agencies in the community.
Roughly 5,500 square feet, our Safe House facility has 11 bedrooms, each holding 2-4 women and children. The facility has a community kitchen, bathrooms, kids center, gathering room, conference room, offices and waiting area. In addition, there is a computer area that is available for the residents to research opportunities for housing, jobs, etc.
Last year alone the Safe House hosted 117 women and children under their care.
